Full commercial flight activities kicks off in Bayelsa Int’l airport

Commercial flight operations have commenced in earnest at the Bayelsa International Airport, Yenagoa.
United Nigeria Airlines took off from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos and landed this morning, making it the maiden full commercial flight since the airport was certified for commercial activities.
Mr. Bello Bina, is proudly the first business class passenger on board.
The flight also operated back to Abuja with an impressive number of passengers on board from Yenagoa.
Among those who boarded the first Abuja flight were Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Senator Moses Cleopas, His Royal Majesty, King Alfred Diette- Spiff, Special Adviser to the Governor on Investments, Hon. (Dr.) Jonathan Obuebite, and former Sports Commissioner in the state,Mr. Opukiri Jones Ere.
Most of the travelers were excited that the airport was now open for commercial flight and would ease the burden of their air travels.
