Gov. Diri Receives New Commander of The Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe

The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Governor Douye Diri, today, received the new commander of the joint task force, operation Delta safe, Rear Admiral Aminu Hassan and his entourage in Government House, Yenagoa.
Diri while welcoming the new Commander said “First let me on behalf of the government and people of Bayelsa state welcome you back home to Bayelsa state. I said that because you have been here before and this is your second missionary journey, but this time around, on a higher capacity.
“For us, there is no politicization of criminality and security, a criminal do not have a party coloration. And so as a government, we are also not here to protect political parties but to protect Bayelsa indigenes, and I believe that your coming will also help us ensure that the policies and programs of this administration particularly as it affects security will be carried out to its logical conclusion”, he said.
