“Uuuu huun unhun; aann haan aan haan “ That’s Kris Okotie’s signature tone, each time he is on pulpit, entertaining himself with Hebrew and Greek jargons , garnished/ seasoned with Igodomigodo brand of grammar that lack content and message.
If you are a lover of grandiloquence, you will enjoy Okotie when he preaches; if you are an admirer of American comedians, when Okotie comes on board, you will really feel robustly entertained.
He came to the pulpit with a background of huge success in music entertainment . Everybody has a past . He is no exception.
However, because I am not a judge and God says we should not judge, I do not want to ask how much and which part of his life he has given to Christ.That’s between him and God.
However, his response to the death of TB Joshua; his choice of words in conveying his hatred for a man who gave his all to humanity, could only have come from a man whose heart is wired in envy and who occupies a prominent position in the Kingdom of darkness and mad men.
Here are some of his words:
“The wizard at Endor who assumed the title Emmanuel, has been consumed by divine indignation. And now his disciples bewail his ignominious exit.”
“The day of the vengeance of our God has fully come to Nigeria.”
Between TB Joshua and Okotie, who really qualifies to be called Wizard at Endor?
Is Chris Okotie a Christian? Who called him? To do what.? Again , I leave that to God.
But why has he allowed sheer envy to make him jump into the streets naked— and with evil heart talking ill of a man who came to give the world the authentic definition of Christianity.?
TB Joshua was here to do what God commanded and which Jesus Christ preached. Read the Bible and juxtapose it with the life of TB Joshua and you will marvel at their awesomely harmonious convergence.
With his warm- hearted humanity TB Joshua fed the hungry; he clothed the naked; he brought smiles to the faces of those thundered by the travails of life; he carried bags of rice on his head and with humility, distributed to the poor; he gave scholarships to children of the poor; he went to rural areas and rehabilitated abandoned elderly men and women.
Who is that other Pastor in Nigeria that gave and sacrificed as TB Joshua did!!
While they are extorting their members by pressuring them to give and give and sow seeds under nebulously defined terms,it was the other way round for TB Joshua— he was the one doing the giving.
He was just an epitome of humility; he never moved around with police escorts— which his colleagues see as part of accessories of success and therefore must be associated with their ostentatious life style choices.
Reading through Okotie’s message of hate and envy,I discovered that he spoke in a manner that appears to suggest he had reached agreement with God on the issue of death.So arrogantly stupid are his words that you would think that he has been Divinely robed in garment of eternity here on earth and therefore will never die.
No one, born of woman is screened from the inevitability of death. Maybe Okotie descended from the sky.
If according to Okotie “ the day of the vengeance of our God has fully come to Nigeria “ it will commence in those Churches where pastors are destroying marriages ;where pastors are overtaxing those who need to be helped; where pastors despise those who are so poor to give; where pastors extort members to buy expensive cars and build schools whose fees are too high for members to send their children to; where pastors have converted their female members and other people’s wives to concubines.
These are the places judgement will start.
Okotie described TB Joshua’s death as ignominious. How.? Because he died a month to his 58th birthday. How old were Jesus Christ and John the Baptist when they died.?
Give Okotie another 300 years to be here before he dies. He will only be remembered for his uunn huun , aann hann
