Former aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has admonished Nigerians to be on their good behavior, Now that President Bola Tinubu has resolved the UAE visa ban on the Nigerian passport.
He gave the admonishment immediately after the ban on the Nigerian passport was lefted today on his Facebook handle.
Recall, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted the visa ban placed on Nigerian travellers after almost one year.
This follows a historic agreement between President Bola Tinubu and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday, according to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
Reno in his reaction, said, “please let us be on our best behaviour, don’t be the one who spoils it for the rest of us. Sadly, we have become known for some rather negative practices I don’t want to enumerate here”
“We must police ourselves and have a sense of national pride, or we will get banned again. There is a limit to what foreign governments can take” he noted.
“Let us consider the national interest and not repeat the same patterns that contributed to the ban so that we can all travel to Dubai without feeling ashamed”. he added.
