Warri Agog as DESOPADEC Executive Director, Chief Favour Izoukumor, Celebrated on His Birthday

Warri, Delta State — It was a day of joy, gratitude, and heartfelt celebration in Warri as friends, family members, and associates gathered to honour Chief Favour Izoukumor, Executive Director, Social Services, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), on the occasion of his birthday.
What began as a quiet day of reflection for Chief Izoukumor soon turned into a delightful surprise as close friends and loved ones organized a grand celebration filled with prayers, music, and warm tributes in his honour.
Speaking after the event, Chief Izoukumor described his birthdays as moments of retrospection and gratitude, noting that this year’s celebration was truly exceptional.
> “I was completely taken by surprise by the resplendent birthday bash organised by my friends, family members, and associates,” he said. “It was both unforgettable and heartwarming.”
The planning committee, led by Captain Joseph Zitu, Chief Francis Oyimi, Chief Joel Ogbonna, Chief Harrison Gbenekama, Hon. Spencer Okpoye, Mr. Andrew Anegba, and Deacon Samson Wanyan, was commended by Chief Izoukumor for their loyalty, friendship, and commitment.
> “Their efforts reflected true loyalty and selflessness,” he added.
The colourful celebration attracted prominent personalities from across the Niger Delta region, including Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; Rt. Hon. Dr. Julius Pondi (PhD), Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency; and Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly. Several state commissioners, traditional rulers, and community leaders were also in attendance.
Chief Izoukumor expressed profound appreciation to a long list of supporters and well-wishers — including Chief Samson Bramor, Chief Boro Opudu, Chief Moses Bebenimbo, Chief Perefugha Karewei (JP), Chief Freeborn Dezu, Chief William Borme, Chief Paul Ukuli, Chief Felix Equare, Chief Queen Ajemitolu, Mr. Presely Brebo, and Rt. Hon. Samuel Ekpemupolo — for their goodwill and presence.
He also extended gratitude to various social and political groups, the Christian community, DESOPADEC staff, Fidelity Bank Plc, and cultural organizations such as the Unique Ladies of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, Ijansa Progressive Movement, and the Arewa Warri Community, among others, for their show of solidarity, prayers, and goodwill messages.
