YENAGOA, BAYELSA — The campaign of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, High Chief (Hon.) Seles Saboh, received a boost after persons living with disabilities in Bayelsa State reportedly pledged their support for his 2027 House of Representatives ambition.
During a visit to the disability community in Yenagoa as part of his ongoing grassroots engagement across the state, Saboh expressed gratitude for what he described as the group’s unwavering encouragement and confidence in his vision for a more inclusive Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency.
Addressing the gathering, the NDC candidate assured the community that he would continue to advocate for their rights and welfare if elected.
“I sincerely appreciate their steadfast support, encouragement, and confidence in our shared vision for a better Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency. Their unwavering commitment continues to inspire me,” Saboh said
He pledged to remain a strong voice for persons living with disabilities by promoting policies and opportunities that guarantee inclusion, dignity, and equal participation in governance and development.
“I will always stand with them, listen to their concerns, champion their rights, and work towards creating opportunities that promote inclusion, dignity, and equal participation for all,” he added.
Saboh emphasized that his political movement is founded on the principles of unity, compassion, and selfless service, stressing that every segment of society deserves equal representation and opportunities.
“Our movement is built on unity, compassion, and service to the people. Together, we will build a constituency where no one is left behind. Together, we stand. Together, we move forward,” he stated.
The visit attracted goodwill messages from supporters, who praised the NDC flag bearer for prioritizing vulnerable groups and demonstrating what they described as compassionate and inclusive leadership.
One supporter described Saboh as “a leader with a pure heart of gold” and declared that he remains “the right choice for Sagbama and Ekeremor Federal Constituency in 2027.”
Another supporter commended his commitment to inclusive governance, saying, “Inclusive leadership is true leadership. May God continue to strengthen and guide you as you work to uplift every member of the constituency.”
Others hailed him as “a leader to emulate,” while members of the disability community reportedly reaffirmed their support with the declaration: “Sagbama/Ekeremor persons with disabilities endorse Seles as our candidate. We stand for him 24/7.”
The endorsement is expected to further strengthen Saboh’s grassroots campaign as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections in Bayelsa State.
