BBNAIJA S6: Why I’m no longer interested in Maria – Pere reveals

Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere, has revealed that he is no longer attracted to Maria, his fellow Wildcard and love interest among the female housemates.
Pere revealed this to Beatrice as the duo discussed his relationship with her and Maria on Thursday, day 12 of the show.
According to him, he’s no longer interested in Maria because he is a ‘grown man’ and has to move on with his life.
Earlier, Maria revealed that she felt disrespected when Pere kissed Beatrice during the Truth or Dare game, after saying he has feelings for her (Maria).
On Tuesday, Maria told Pere face to face that she doesn’t like him.
Beatrice, on her own, felt Pere distanced himself from her because of what Maria told him.
In their discussion, Pere assured Beatrice that he did not distance himself from him.
Beatrice told him that she was bothered that Pere left her bed side to another side of the room.
“We’re bedmates and we were supposed to be hosting but you just left me and moved to the other side,” Beatrice said.
She further asked if her action or something she does is the reason for his estrangement.
Pere answered, “You aren’t doing anything at all. Believe me, you aren’t doing anything at all. Sometimes, I go back to my reserved shell.”
Beatrice then said she thought that it was because of Maria. That was when Pere told her that Maria is not his girlfriend and he is no longer attracted to her.
“Maria is not my girlfriend. Fine, I was attracted to Maria. ‘was’ attracted to Maria,” Pere said, placing emphasis on the “was”
Beatrice asked him why he moved on and he said, ” I’m quick to move on because I know what I want. I’m a grown man. I am 36 years old. 36 years no be beans.”
