EXCLUSIVE:PAP Allegedly Deploys 80 Students secretly to Edwin Clark University

The presidential Amnesty Programme led by the Interim Administrator Maj.Gen. Barry Tariye Ndiomu, in its scholarship programme, has reportedly deployed secretly, fresh students to Edwin Clark University.
A source hinted our correspondent yesterday on the new development, according to the source, 80 fresh students has been sent to Edwin Clark university. “please be informed that, the Amnesty office has made secret deployment of students to Edwin Clark University recently” he noted.
Recall, Tarakirivoice has earlier reported that The Presidential Amnesty Program, PAP, has announced the application for its Special Scholarship Scheme for undergraduates and postgraduate degree programs.
Head of Reintegration for the PAP Interim Administrator, Wilfred Musa, disclosed this in circular on the 27th of October 2023, that applicants from “verified Niger Delta ex-agitators will be collated through a dedicated online portal.”
It also added that details on how to apply for the 2024/2025 session would be made public soon.
According to the source, Beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme are waiting for the anouncement of the commencement of the application process for the scholarship programme as earlier reported by the Amnesty office. stressing that this secret deployment of students into the Edwin Clark University is a shock to the beneficiaries of the presidential Amnesty Programme.
He further noted that, the so called secretly deployed students could be individuals that are not part of the beneficiaries of the Programme, sometimes they are not even from the Niger-Delta he added.
Tarakirivoice made effort to contact the Head of Reintegration for clarification but the phone number was not reachable.
