In a bit to harness hidden talents from the grassroots, the organisers of the DENCO FIVE-ASIDE football tournament have announced the commencement of its competition.
The tournament which is set to be hosted in Egbema Angalabiri Community in Ekeremor Local Government Area, Bayelsa state is aimed at enabling the youths of the community to develop their football skills, entertainment purposes and also to consider it as an healthy activity for the youths.
Furthermore, the tournament would provide an avenue for the players and teams experience exposure by playing with new players.
The competition which is in it’s maiden edition is set to kick start on 25th November, 2023, would be hosted in the Community Township Stadium
The organisers urged interested participants to pickup forms as registration as it would end soon.
Winners are expected to go home with a prize money of N50,000, runner-up N30,000, while second runner-up goes home with N20,000.
