“It must be me” the Egbemo-Angalabiri killer disease
The problem of Egbemo-Angalabiri is this, The love of the community is shifted to personal love

By Passman Akpos
Egbemo-Angalabiri, well endowed with mineral resources, one of the highest crude oil producing communities in Bayelsa State. The Egbemo-Angalabiri is blessed with Natural resource by her creator but the habitat and the inhabitants does not reflect the blessings reposed in them.
A community located in Ekeremor Local Government Area in Bayelsa state. One of the communities in the Tarakiri Clan.
Oil exploration has been on in Egbemo-Angalabiri since from 1970, if not more. By now this well endowed community should be an envy of neighbouring communities and even in the Bayelsa state as a whole but that is not happening yet.
Politically, the community is not doing well, we have, currently the deputy speaker in the person of Hon. Micheal Ogbere, but I don’t think is an influence he being a bonafide son of Egbemo-Angalabiri that gave him that position. I can’t trace any appointments from the Douye Diri’s Administration or past Administrations of significance, that is given to a Son or daughter of Egbemo-Angalabiri by the reason of the enormous economic contribution of this great community.
In the area of development, we are backward, no youth at this point in time will be so proud to say that is from Egbemo-Angalabiri. The youths are jobless. This is not to say they are not hard working or doesn’t have the required qualifications to hold positions, but the system has handicapped them.
Currently the community doesn’t have a King, even smaller communities around can boast of Royal highnesses but Egbemo-Angalabiri can not. There are rumors, that some selected persons from the community are seeking for a divine help for whom shall be the King of the community.
I am Passman Akpos, I want to encourage you to read, before you conclude reading this episode, I will provide two basic solutions to the problems of Egbemo-Angalabiri.
First, the problem of Egbemo-Angalabiri, is the the problem of ” It must be me”. as simple as this look, is a basic problem in the domain.
Having a king should not take this community long time to accertain. Egbemo-Angalabiri as since has only one king. that is the person of “IDO 1”. IDO stands for ( Idoro-Idimu, Doweifelo and Orutala) late Chief Ebibokefie became the first Highness just because, may be, at that time people were not having this “it must be me” syndrome.
People were selfless, they directed their personal interest to general interest, they always allowed the community to come first before them. Any decision they take, the interest of the community was always paramount.
That was the reason why, when they saw the then highness, they were in one mind to approach him and asked him to be the King of the community.
Their focus was on the betterment of the community, not for an individual. So in their findings, they concluded that he should be the best man for the job.
There was no envy, because selfishness was not there. It was a time of general interest not self interest. So it was easy to get a highness.
Today, they are going divine to get a highness for the community, and they are finding it difficult. The reason is simple. every body has an interest, self interest is bigger than general interest. even a Prophet, Pastor, or a Juju priest can mention a name, as far as it doesn’t serve the interest of some persons, it will not stand.
The problem of Egbemo-Angalabiri is this, The love of the community is shifted to personal love. is like this ” I come, before Egbemo-Angalabiri” the solution to this is simple, let this love be redirected to the community, and you will see the impact it will cause.
Secondly, Egbemo-Angalabiri as a whole is “blood guilty” yes you heard me well, the community is BLOOD GUILTY.
Blood is a strong force that can have a spiritual implications on a community that can translate to physical backwardness or hardship of a community.
Read Gen. 4:1-15. Egbemo-Angalabiri has offended a particular Family in the place of blood and as since done nothing about it, God can raise a curse on a community by this singular act.
The Family of Late PASSMAN REVEN have suffered loss in the place of blood and nothing as since being done about it.
Two sons of a man, the same family, killed without any aspect of human feelings.
This happened on February 2007, when Egbemo-Angalabiri invaded Clough creek with twelve speed boats, fully Armed, in the process SOUNE PASSMAN was murdered.
His body was dumped in an unknown destination, up until now, the family knew nothing about where the body was dumped, no befitting burial of what so ever.
Do you think the blood of the dead will not cry for vengeance?
EBIKEMEFA PASSMAN, popularly known as OFOROMOLEKELEKE. Another of the PASSMAN’S SONS, was murdered in 2009, still in Clough Creek, by Akpoebibo(Pius) nothing has been done by the community to appease the dead.
This is a serious form of oppression of a particular Family by a community. you know, God is not dead, he hates oppression. The dead needs to be appeased, the PASSMAN’S Family needs to be appeased.
The prosperity of Egbemo-Angalabiri can be tied to this singular act.
Blood is crying against the land of Egbemo-Angalabiri.
This Family needs to be compensated for the evil done on them by the community.
a word is enough for the wise!
GOD IS SAYING SOMETHING!
