“‘Tinubu Is Damaging His Reputation With Tompolo’ — Apostle Ezekiel Daniel Fires Fresh Salvo”

Apostle Ezekiel Daniel has launched a fresh verbal attack on Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, describing the former militant leader as a “wicked, extremely diabolical kidnapper, abductor, ruthless and greedy” individual allegedly pursuing what he called a “lordship agenda.”

Daniel, in a strongly worded statement, accused Tompolo of being an example of what he described as “fake people” and urged members of the public to be cautious about whom they trust.

He alleged that Tompolo’s character was incompatible with community leadership or representation of the Ijaw people, describing him as “horrible,” “lacking empathy,” “blood-thirsty” and “extremely wicked.”

According to him, the allegations surrounding Tompolo should not be ignored, particularly as the former militant leader has become increasingly prominent in matters concerning security and development in the Niger Delta.‘Tinubu Should Be Careful With Tompolo

Daniel also expressed concern over what he described as Tompolo’s alleged association with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, arguing that the President should be mindful of the political implications of allowing his name to be associated with individuals facing serious allegations.

He said: “That is why I pity President Tinubu for allowing him to be running around with his names to damage what is left of his reputation.

The cleric further called on President Tinubu to ensure that allegations of atrocities allegedly committed against Niger Delta residents are subjected to appropriate legal scrutiny.

“President Tinubu should know that Tompolo is supposed to be prosecuted for atrocities he has committed against the Niger Delta people, not allowing him doing high service work as if he is campaign manager,” he alleged.

Former CSO Also AccusedDaniel extended his criticism to Ebipade Kari, whom he identified as a former Chief Security Officer to Tompolo.

He alleged that Kari played a significant role in human-rights abuses during his association with Tompolo.

“As former CSO to Tompolo, Ebipade Kari played a key role in all the terrible human rights violations activities of his boss,” Daniel alleged.

He further alleged that the violations included the kidnapping and abduction of Niger Delta youths and other residents across the region, as well as their alleged imprisonment and torture at Oporoza.

“From kidnapping, abduction of Niger Deltans, especially the youths of his kingdom, Egbema, across the region to their imprisonment and torture at Oporoza, he is not left out,” he alleged.

‘Tompolo Is A Symbol Of Tyranny’

Turning his attention to residents of Warri North, Daniel urged them to be cautious about Tompolo’s alleged influence over political and community affairs.

“People of Warri North, this man is a symbol of tyranny and repression,” he declared.

He also questioned Ebipade Kari’s suitability for legislative responsibilities, arguing that the allegations he raised should be considered when assessing whether Kari possesses the character required to serve in an elected legislative position.

“He lacks all the tenets of someone who should be allowed to operate in hallowed chamber of Assembly,” Daniel concluded.

It should be noted that the allegations contained in Daniel’s statement are accusations and have not been established as facts by a court. Tompolo and Ebipade Kari were not quoted in the statement responding to the allegations.
