Adeola, the daughter of veteran Nigerian actress, Jumoke George, is back from Mali.
Adeola was received by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Present at the reception at the NiDCOM office in Lagos State was the host of the podcast: “Talk to B,” Abiola Adebayo, who began the process that led to her return.
Adebayo had interviewed Adeola’s mother, who said that she had been missing for about four years, leaving her with her two children.
George, who said she had been living in a church for six years and ill, recalled the disappearance of her daughter.
Adebayo, also a Nollywood actress, then traced Adeola, who expressed her desire to return home to Mali.
With the aide of NiDCOM and the Nigeria Embassy in Mali, Adeola eventually arrived in Nigeria on Monday afternoon.
George said after her daughter’s return: “This is nothing short of a miracle.
“I have cried. I have prayed.
“And now, I can finally hold my daughter again.”
