Nollywood actor Francis Duru announced the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
Writing on his Instagram account, he said:
“My champ!! my lion…you fought like a lion…if this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful…Ifeanyi my champ….I will miss you son…. I will forever love you…. Rest in peace son…rest….I give you thanks lord.”
The cause of his death was not stated
Only on July, he celebrated his son for reaching adulthood. His death is coming just two years after he lost his father and less than three years after he lost his mother.
In an emotional tribute, Duru had eulogised his father while recalling that his mother ‘just left’.
His caption read, “My last pix with you..dad..memories of yesterday..0 defined my essence…built my being…took the tough and the rough to put me on the turf…of life..I salute you dad…as you took your last bow and transited to glory…you broke my heart this morning when you refused to wake..mum just left..you too ..hmm…so heavy…so painful…thank you..thank you…thank you dad for all..thank you..Will miss you…”
