Father On The Run As 13-Year-Old Daughter Found Seven Months Pregnant, Sparks Nationwide Outrage

A 37-year-old man in Livingstone, Zambia, is being sought by police after he was accused of sexually abusing his 13-year-old daughter, who was later discovered to be seven months pregnant.
The case was reported by the girl’s 34-year-old mother, who told authorities that her husband had been involved in the abuse over a period of time. According to police, the alleged incidents occurred on multiple occasions between August 2025 and April 8, 2026, often when the mother was away for business.
Southern Province Police Commanding Officer, Moono Namalongo, confirmed that the victim said she had been threatened and warned not to disclose the incidents.
The situation came to light on April 8, 2026, when the teenager fell ill at school and was taken to a clinic. Medical personnel who examined her established that she was seven months pregnant. When questioned, the girl identified her biological father as responsible.
Police said a case docket has been opened, and the victim has been referred for medical attention and support.
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspect, who is currently on the run.The Zambia Police Service stated that it remains committed to protecting children and urged members of the public to report suspected cases of abuse.
