“You Fled In Your Underwear!” — Ezekiel Daniel Reopens Ogunboss’s Alleged Peremabiri Humiliation, Challenges His ‘Tough Guy’ Image

Apostle Ezekiel Daniel has launched another blistering attack against his rival, Paul Eres, popularly known as Ogunboss, accusing him of projecting an image of toughness online while allegedly lacking the courage to confront his adversaries in real life.
In a statement laced with personal attacks and political accusations, Daniel recalled what he described as an embarrassing encounter involving Ogunboss and a young man identified as Amagben in Peremabiri about six years ago.
According to Daniel, Ogunboss allegedly fled the confrontation by jumping into a river and escaping in his underwear.
Daniel further claimed that Ogunboss has not returned to his home community since the incident, alleging that his compound was subsequently burnt and that the property and rice field were later put to other uses.

The Apostle also turned his attention to Ogunboss’s alleged financial relationship with influential figures in the Niger Delta.
He claimed that before Tantita Security Services allegedly began providing financial support to Ogunboss, he depended heavily on assistance from Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri.
Daniel did not provide documentary evidence to substantiate the claims.
Daniel Praises Boyloaf, Attacks Ogunboss Over Tompolo
In contrast, Daniel portrayed former militant leader Boyloaf as a man of principle and integrity, describing him as someone who would not allegedly resort to begging for financial assistance from members of the Oporoza establishment.
He also claimed that Boyloaf had maintained a consistent position against Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, since 2015.
Daniel, however, accused Ogunboss of changing his position toward Tompolo after allegedly receiving financial benefits from individuals connected to the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
He alleged that between 2015 and 2022, Ogunboss was strongly opposed to Tompolo but subsequently softened his position after Tare Pondi allegedly began extending financial assistance.
Those claims were presented by Daniel as part of his broader argument that Ogunboss’s political positions were driven by personal interests.
Threatens To Release Private Conversations
Daniel further escalated the confrontation by threatening to publish private conversations he claimed to have had access to from early 2025.
According to him, the alleged chats showed Ogunboss pleading for assistance to restore his relationship with Tompolo.
Daniel claimed he personally intervened by contacting Tompolo’s private secretary.
However, the alleged conversations were not released alongside the statement, making it impossible to independently verify the claims.
Challenges Ogunboss Over Amnesty Programme
Daniel also challenged Ogunboss to identify what he described as a tangible achievement since becoming associated with the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
He contrasted Ogunboss’s alleged record with that of Boyloaf, whom he said obtained a first-class degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and a master’s degree related to Global Security and International Studies from Baze University.
Daniel also cited Boyloaf’s family life as evidence of what he described as personal stability and social responsibility.
Personal Allegations Intensify War Of Words
The statement ended with a series of highly personal allegations against Ogunboss, including claims about his private life and conduct.
Daniel made allegations concerning Ogunboss’s relationships and activities at his Gwarinpa residence. These allegations were not accompanied by evidence and could not be independently verified by Tarakirivoice.
The increasingly bitter exchange between the two men appears to have moved beyond political disagreements into a broader personal confrontation involving allegations about their past relationships with influential figures in the Niger Delta.
Daniel concluded by insisting that he remained prepared for what he described as the next phase of the confrontation.
