The President General of the Izon Community in Ughelli Kingdom and Its Environs, Hon. God’spower Mabiko Duff, has congratulated Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Basil Okolobaowei Ganagana on his emergence as the party’s flagbearer for the Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election.
In a congratulatory message, Duff described Ganagana’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in him by the people of the constituency, citing his leadership qualities, legislative experience, and commitment to public service.
According to him, the party’s decision to nominate Ganagana is a recognition of his years of dedicated service, political experience, loyalty, and commitment to the welfare of the people.
He expressed confidence that Ganagana possesses the experience, vision, and competence needed to provide effective and people-oriented representation in the House of Representatives if elected in 2027.
Duff noted that Ganagana’s track record in public office and understanding of governance have continued to inspire confidence among constituents and members of the Izon nation.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength, good health, and victory for the party’s candidate in the forthcoming general election, expressing optimism that his representation would promote sustainable development, youth empowerment, economic growth, quality education, improved infrastructure, and the protection of the interests of the Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency.
The Izon Community leader further stated that the community remains hopeful that Ganagana’s leadership would strengthen democratic governance, accountability, and national development while delivering policies and programmes capable of improving the lives of the people.
He added that the community looks forward to seeing the former lawmaker translate his experience into impactful legislation and developmental initiatives that would leave a lasting legacy across the constituency.
Duff concluded by congratulating Ganagana once again, expressing confidence that his emergence as the party’s candidate marks the beginning of a successful journey toward the 2027 general election and, ultimately, impactful representation in the National Assembly.
