From the creeks and waterways of Tarakiri Clan, crude oil has flowed into the economy of Bayelsa State and Nigeria. The wealth generated from the lands and waters of Egbemo-Angalabiri has helped sustain government revenues, support public institutions, and contribute to the growth of the nation. Yet many sons and daughters of the community continue to ask a painful question:

When will Egbemo-Angalabiri truly feel the full dividends of democracy?

As a former Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Sele Saboh earned a reputation among supporters as a leader who remained close to ordinary people.
