Bayelsa State, Nigeria – former Governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor, leading a senatorial delegation to console the Governor, government officials, and the people of Bayelsa State.

In a heartfelt statement, Dickson said he had been “heartbroken” since the demise of E-Lawrenzi, but found the strength to visit the state to pay respects. The delegation also visited the family and the Ofoni community, where the late Deputy Governor hailed from.

During his visit to the Government House, Dickson thanked Governor Douye Diri for his hospitality and condoled with the government and people of Bayelsa State. He highlighted the significant impact of the loss, noting that the late Deputy Governor died while serving the state in active office.
