Julius Pondi Makes Bold Move, Awards Full Scholarships To Two Young Ijaw Talents From Primary To University

The Federal Lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, has awarded full educational scholarships from primary school through university to two promising young Ijaw talents, Little Miss Testimony and Little Miss Faith.
The scholarships were awarded in recognition of the children’s exceptional talents and their commitment to promoting Ijaw culture through music and dance.
Pondi made the gesture while receiving members of the Smooth Musical Organization at his residence, where he applauded Chief Barrister S. Smooth for identifying, nurturing and supporting young talents.
The lawmaker commended Chief Barrister S. Smooth for investing in the younger generation and helping to ensure that the culture, music and identity of the Ijaw people continue to resonate from the creeks of the Niger Delta to the global stage.
According to the statement, the scholarship goes beyond educational support, representing an investment in talent, culture and the future of the Ijaw people.
The gesture will provide Little Miss Testimony and Little Miss Faith with educational support from primary school through university, while giving them an opportunity to continue developing their talents in music and dance.
The development has also highlighted the importance of supporting young people who are using their talents to preserve and promote indigenous culture.
