Cleopas Declares 2027 Bayelsa Assembly Ambition as Saboh Hosts NDC Stakeholders Meeting

Early yesterday morning, political activities gathered momentum in Ekeremor Local Government Area as members of the NDC family converged at the residence of High Chief (Hon) Seles Saboh for a strategic meeting that also marked a major political declaration ahead of the 2027 elections.
During the meeting, Hon. Johnbull Cleopas of Aghoro Community, Constituency 3 in Ekeremor LGA, formally declared his intention to contest for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly seat in 2027.
The declaration was received with attention and cautious optimism by party stakeholders present, as Cleopas outlined his ambition to represent his constituency and contribute to legislative development in the state.
High Chief Seles Saboh, while addressing the gathering, commended Cleopas for what he described as a courageous step into public service. He noted that the decision reflects experience, determination, and a genuine commitment to the development of Constituency 3.
“As I stated during the meeting, unity remains our greatest strength,” Saboh said, urging party faithful and stakeholders to remain united, focused, and committed to the collective interest of the people as preparations begin ahead of the 2027 political season.
