Common Men Assembly Backs Julius Pondi in Burutu Federal Constituency Race, Purchases Nomination Forms

The political atmosphere in Burutu Federal Constituency has received a significant boost as the Common Men Assembly has thrown its weight behind Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi, PhD, ahead of the forthcoming party primary election scheduled for next month.
In a strong show of support, the group, led by Chief Jude Angodideke, reportedly purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the aspiring lawmaker, a gesture that has been widely interpreted as a vote of confidence in his leadership ambition.
In a formal note of appreciation released by Hon. Pondi, he expressed deep gratitude to the group for what he described as a “remarkable and humbling gesture,” stressing that the support reflects trust in his vision and commitment to effective representation.
He noted that the endorsement strengthens his resolve to remain focused on inclusive representation, grassroots development, and purposeful leadership.
“I sincerely express my heartfelt appreciation to the Common Men Assembly, under the visionary leadership of Chief Jude Angodideke, for the generous support in purchasing my Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the forthcoming Burutu Federal Constituency primary election next month,” the statement read.
He further assured supporters and stakeholders that he remains committed to advancing the collective interest and prosperity of the constituency through sustained engagement and development-driven policies.
