Drones, AI, Satellites, 9,000 Operatives: Tantita Opens Its Security Architecture To Defence Intelligence Students

Students of the Defence Intelligence Academy, Nigeria, have visited the Command and Control Centre of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, gaining firsthand exposure to the company’s intelligence, surveillance and technology-driven security operations.
The visit took place on Thursday, August 27, 2026, as part of an engagement aimed at giving the students practical insight into the application of intelligence and modern surveillance technologies in contemporary security operations.
The students were received by members of Tantita’s management team, including the Executive Director, Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, and Administrative Manager, Daisy Jaja, among others.
During the engagement, Captain Enisuoh provided an overview of Tantita’s operations and subsequently led the students on a tour of the company’s Command and Control Centre.
The tour offered the students practical exposure to the systems, technologies and processes deployed for real-time maritime security, surveillance and protection of critical assets.
The interaction also provided an avenue for the students to connect theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom with practical experience, particularly in the areas of intelligence gathering, technology deployment, coordinated surveillance and real-time security response.
The visit comes amid growing emphasis on the role of technology and intelligence in protecting Nigeria’s critical national assets and maritime environment.
Tantita said its operations combine human intelligence with advanced technological capabilities, including aerial surveillance, satellite monitoring, artificial intelligence-enabled intelligence systems and an integrated Command and Control structure.
According to the company, it operates one of Nigeria’s largest privately operated drone fleets and has more than 9,000 field operatives deployed across its areas of operation.
The company said the combination of its personnel and technological infrastructure enables it to collect, process and deploy actionable intelligence in real time.
The Defence Intelligence Academy students’ visit therefore provided an opportunity to observe how intelligence gathered through multiple channels can be integrated into operational decision-making.
By combining human intelligence, aerial surveillance, satellite technology, artificial intelligence and data-driven analysis, Tantita has positioned its security model around the conversion of intelligence into operational action.
The engagement underscored the increasing importance of collaboration between intelligence training institutions and organisations operating at the frontline of maritime and critical infrastructure security.
For the students, the visit offered a practical understanding of how modern intelligence architecture operates beyond the classroom, while Tantita used the engagement to showcase its approach to technology-driven security operations across the Niger Delta and beyond.
