A tragic incident has reportedly shaken residents of Ndoro Community in Bayelsa state after a woman was found dead in her home in the early hours of Thursday, February 20, 2026.
According to local sources, the attack occurred overnight after the victim allegedly went to sleep without locking her door. Community members said an unidentified person gained access to the house and carried out the assault before fleeing the scene.
A video circulating among residents is said to show the aftermath of the incident, with voices speaking in the Ijaw language describing what they believed to be the removal of parts of the victim’s throat by the assailant. The authenticity of the video has not yet been independently verified.
