Edo South Senator, Neda Imasuen, Faces Recall Over Incompetent And Misconduct

Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South Senatorial District, is facing a recall effort led by a coalition of groups and individuals, including EDO SOUTH MATTERS, Labour Party youths, and concerned citizens.
The recall effort is driven by several factors, including Imasuen’s perceived incompetence, his disbarment in the US, and his handling of the Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan case with Senator Akpabio ¹.
Imasuen’s disbarment in the US is a significant issue, as he was found guilty of multimillion-dollar fraud and gross misconduct. He was disbarred for life after he swindled his client, absconding with representation fees without making an appearance for her in court ¹.
The Labour Party has also called for Imasuen’s recall due to his alleged role in Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension. The party’s youths have criticized Imasuen’s actions, demanding his suspension and recall ² ³.
The recall effort has gained momentum, with many calling for Imasuen’s removal from office.
“The people of Edo South deserve better representation, and it’s time for Imasuen to step down and pave the way for a more capable and responsible leader”, Comrade Ikhuenbor Felix told Trojaninsights.com.
