Those wishing to perform Hajj will only be allowed to do so if they book through the relevant Saudi platforms that grant authorized Hajj visas, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement.
The ministry warned those who want to take part in Hajj against using unofficial channels to book for the pilgrimage.
The ministry said that any information or offers circulating on unofficial channels were misleading and did not represent the ministry or relevant authorities.
“The public must verify the information to avoid falling for false advertisements or fraudulent Hajj offers, the ministry added.
“An official Hajj visa granted by the relevant Saudi authorities can be arranged in coordination with Hajj affairs offices in 80 countries or through the “Nusuk Hajj” platform.
“The platform, designated for pilgrims from over 126 countries, allows for direct booking through the platform,” the ministry stated.
The ministry also stressed that the “electronic portal” on its official website and the “Nusuk” app were the only approved channels for domestic pilgrims—citizens and residents within the Kingdom—to book Hajj packages.
The ministry said it “provides 24-hour multilingual support through ‘Guests Care Centers’ for inquiries and reports.”
